How it works
Feeding: A slurry of material is fed into the top of the inclined tub, which is partially filled with water.
Separation: The slow-rotating spiral screw gently rakes the settled material, moving it up the incline.
Washing: As the material is moved, it is washed, and lighter, unwanted fines (impurities) are carried away by the water and discharged from the top.
Dewatering: As the washed, coarser material moves up the incline, excess water drains back into the tub, leaving behind a relatively water-free product at the discharge point
